Munro Academy's Enriched Pre - Primary Program offers students a great starting point for academic success. Classes incorporate Bible, Jolly Phonics early reading acquisition, numeracy, social studies, drama, art, social interaction and fun.

This summer program, for school-aged children, will run for 9 weeks (July 2 - August 30, 2024). Children will participate in planned fun activities, free-play, outdoor time and daily quiet time (puzzles, reading, playing with blocks, etc.).

We love our children! We are passionate about providing infants, toddlers and preschool age children with a caring, structured, safe and fun environment in which they can grow and flourish. MAELC provides children with positive and stimulating learning experiences in a well prepared, aesthetically pleasing environment. The MAELC approach integrates Christian worldview content, best practice early learning methodologies and good old fashioned loving care! We engage students through child lead and teacher directed learning modalities incorporating age appropriate interactive learning stations. We partner with community organizations to facilitate supervised intergenerational relational learning opportunities.
MAELC’s spacious facilities include three large classrooms, a dedicated ELC Hallway with an individual cubby for each student, large, natural fenced play spaces including a dedicated infant space and toddler/preschooler space, access to MA’s gymnasium - allowing for four-season, all weather active play! Our meals and snacks are prepared in MAELC’s licensed kitchen. The MAELC is fully licensed under the Nova Scotia Department of Education and Early Childhood Development. Parents and students are warmly welcomed by Munro Academy reception.
MAELC subscribes to Lillio - an app that enables educators and childcare programs to make profiles for children, track their development, and keep parents in the loop.
